I'm checking it out, and yes, all the Linux links are dead; the only one that works is the Mega link for the Windows version. The game is relatively heavy, so give me a moment and I'll have some mirrors ready.
Although it's a huge file, I'm not even sure I'll be able to download the whole thing without hitting the download limit.

It's completely normal and standard for the account to need to be verified on any site with this kind of content.
But it usually doesn't take long - it depends on whether an admin is online at that time and whether your login information - username and email address - is acceptable.

The fact that it happened so quickly this time was pure coincidence.

It’s summer and therefore vacation time, so you should expect that even the mods and admins will be checking in on the site less often than usual.

Changing this setting takes some time to be processed and applied by the server; it usually takes between 5 minutes and an hour.
