Forced anal, duh. The majority of people were disregarded to appease a small group. Things like this do not happen suddenly and without compelling reasons.

On top of that, the MC started acting like a loser, labeling wonderful, right things as terrible and wrong. What kind of idiot would trade a multitude of women for just one? Especially since building a harem was the game's primary goal from the very start (for players, at least), and a happy ending is only possible with a harem.
The developer's inconsistency and abrupt change of course clearly point to outside influence on his decisions—just like registering on the forum solely to post a single reply does.

I do not downplay the developer's talents—I acknowledge them—but the inconsistency and abrupt changes in direction are concerning and undermine trust.

Let me reiterate—just in case anyone misunderstood—that this isn't about which content is good or bad. It’s about consistency, about people knowing what to expect.
If a game follows a traditional path the whole way and then suddenly veers off into something unconventional, that’s a bad sign. Now it's a sudden anal, but what happens next? MC will suck his friend's dick?

You're the only guy I've seen getting mad about this game, everywhere else I went to read people's opinions everyone is happy about how the game is going.

Okay...? I have no idea what you're on about at this point. Point is, I'm pretty sure I—the developer of the game—am qualified to tell you I give negative shits about what people do or don't want in the game and just write what I want and have had planned for years. No amount of money is going to convince me to deviate from the vision I've had for this thing from the get go. Subscribers have 0 say in anything I do beyond being able to request bonus renders, which are not even included in the game itself.

I agree with your stance of dev having complete creative control - the dev should have, and it's well within a dev's rights to make exactly the game they want to, I'm just curious about something the other person said for my own sake (not to make an argument): Is it true what they said about taking a harem game into a single LI direction? Because honestly it would piss me off too, if I was playing a game that was advertised as one thing (harem) and it suddenly turned into another (single LI).

Again, the dev fully has the right to do that if they want, but it seems to me that a significant direction change like that WOULD be breaking expectations, and would be worthy of some (polite, I hope) backlash.

The game will have multiple endings including harem and individual LIs. Players will be prompted to make a choice regarding that in a future update. I fully agree one should not advertise a game as harem and then suddenly veer into an exclusively monogamous route. AndyOTR is just mad there's a (missable depending on choices and stats) anal scene.

I don't inherently have a problem with devs who grant supporters voting rights etc. that could influence the direction a game takes, by the way. That's their choice, as long as that is made clear from the start. My point here was just that apparently this individual appears to have gotten the idea that I'm somehow being influenced by subscribers when I've made it abundantly clear to my supporters that that will absolutely never under any circumstances be the case. If anyone ever tried to actually force their ideas on me because muh "I give you money", I'd ban them in a heartbeat.
