These set up some of the Paths you will get to fully explore as the game progresses. This VN features some animations and over 200 jpg's. Practically 0%. I've never heard of an Abandoned AVN getting restarted by the og dev or anyone else and I've been fapping to them for 9 years. These days even getting put On Hold more often than not is just a pause before abandoned (13's Our Island the latest example of that). I guess there's a first time for everything but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's a sandbox anyway (not a fan of those myself).

I usually end up regretting doing that, it usually ends on a cliffhanger that just pisses me off when I realize there's no new update coming so I'll never get to see what happens next. Last one I tried I forget the name of it but it's basically a daughter fucker and just when she finally shows daddy her blonde bush and humps his leg like a dog (after a somewhat slow burn no less), poof, end of update and no new one coming.

Why is this showing up on the front page where we look for new releases?

Because it's a new upload, even when the AVN itself is old/abandoned. This section is mostly loli AVNs, which if you haven't noticed since Westygate hardly anyone makes anymore and most have either abandoned what they were working on or ruined it with a rework. There's like a total of maybe a dozen good ones still under development besides the hand-drawn-hentai-style stuff.

i would rage so hard ngl lol i dont like games that get abandon specially like the game you described because there are so few of them around such a sharp pain is one of them and i hope it continues that latest updates of that game though have honestly been meh and i personally wish that game was a sand box with some repeat scenes in it but its whatever i guess

Makes me wonder why they would even bother to upload a game that has been abandoned for 2 years.

Some will play them anyway like the post above this, but if one wants to keep the + section somewhat current instead of no new uploads for weeks or months from an established dev that didn't tuck tail and run in the past year or so sometimes your pickings are slim, because as I said before AVNs suitable for + aren't made much anymore due to loli hostility from the majority of the planet (leave loli content alone and ignore it if you don't like it, go rage on NTR if you need to hate something). Even some animators and comic strip authors that have been at it for over 15 years have since retired (and probably not due to their age, but probably because it's now an uphill battle to make money from it, as even Pixiv has cracked down on it). If only porn (loli and the rest) were legal in North Korea, they don't seem to give a fuck what the rest of the world wants from them, other than maybe China (where porn is also illegal, and maybe that is why it is in DPRK too).

I think (if I remember it right) the only one you could say was kind of"revived" is Personal Assistant what was Abandoned/dropped by the Original Dev and then picked up/bought off from Blackheart Games. Although I believe they where connected before that, so it's definitely a special case.

Some games have enough content that they're still worth keeping/playing even when they've been abandoned. I have a handful that I've kept despite them being abandoned. I don't know if this one does, but I'd say they're still uploading it for those who still want to try it.
