While I would love flight....I would probably go with Magneto's powerset. Complete control of the electromagnetic spectrum. Pretty sure that would cover most of the bases that I want covered.

Does anyone remember the early 2000's show Heros, save the cheerleader save the world? The chatacter Matt Parkmen? He could read peoples minds and push/control people.

With those powers I coukd not only live a comfortable life, but do so much good, even on a smsll or local level. Good can be subjective, but I could feek safe and secure and help those that neef help.

Given that recently so many people have been waking up with superpowers, my own superpower will be that I am constantly surrounded by a large bubble in which no other superpowers are effective. As I am scared that someone will imprison me close to a bank vault they want to protect, or something similarly stupid, I will try to hide my power.
