It depends on what you mean by collapse. If you mean getting to the point where you literally have the government forcing people to have kids, no. Now if you mean in terms of it causing birthrates to decrease, then yes. It's already happening with normal pornography. Granted the bigger causes are societal changes such as men fearing women due to radical feminism, THIS IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE INCEL IDEOLOGY, things like social media personalities discouraging starting families, the cost of living in the world, and more.

Birthrates in developed countries have been dropping for decades. For other reasons, including realizing overpopulation, women aren't forced to have kids, etc. The only places with high birthrates are terrible places to live. Of course even in developed countries there are some, but...

I think that VR porn in itself no. I think something like a BTL chip (better than life) where you experience something lifelike - emotion, the photorealism situation etc... Be it sex, snuff or simply happiness could contribute greatly to a new wave of deep addictions. So bad you don't want to turn the machine off anymore.

And that is a ridiculous assumption. There are MANY things causing this disconnect between young men and women, the high consumption of porn is more likely a result of the young men being frustrated. I know very few men who would turn down a real vagina attached to a real woman for porn and their left (or right) hand, if the woman actually treated them with a little decency, respect, and affection.

Porn can't compete with women if women are trying their hardest to appeal to men, but women won't do that. Women will try anything and everything to avoid having to adjust the way they act. Men will be shamed for AI porn, government will make laws that punish single men, then when that fails the government will try to make laws to incentivize men to have kids, but women still wont have changed.

So yes I could see a population collapse once AI porn reaches that point, because it will continue to get better and women will continue to get worse.

In so many polls, you will read that many of the worlds top authorities on population growth are worried that we simply do not have enough educated people which in turn procreate children that are given a higher education. I am more concerned about the masculinity of our young men today. I would only hope stoicism to become a class subject. Woman will always find men more attractive that restrain themselves from a falling self grace. If younger men learn more about stoicism and there own inner strength, population decline should become a thing of the past. One person in any relationship must be dominant and it's in a man's genes to dominate a female. This does not mean in life but definitely in the bedroom. Every woman alive enjoys to be dominated in the bedroom whatever they would like to be identified as. A woman can control her man/thing (whatever, lol), if she knows and also learns how to do so but don't trample on your man's ego. It simply won't last. I will also say that porn does have an impact on population growth, just not nearly as much as Masculinity and Femininity.
