Why do so few games use sex sounds?

First thing i do when starting a new game is setting the sound to barely audible. So this would be completly lost with me.

I'd love to add sex sounds to my games, but good quality ones are hard to find. Plus, a lot of players just mute, so it feels like the effort could be better spent elsewhere.

even if most people didn't mute it's only gonna be worth it if the audio is actually decent and the best way to do that is to hire a voice actor most devs can't afford that especially for something most people ignore

I mute AVN's in general, if i want to hear Music i just visit Youtube or if i want to hear terrible Sex voices i just watch Porn. To me it's just a waste of time, efford and Money that could be used elsewhere, it just doesn't make sense to me but to each their own i always think.

I've already expressed earlier, but I will note that the creators of some animations for modified Sims-4 can give a hundred points ahead of all the projects presented both here and on F*95. Why they can do it, and the developers of the games presented here - not, it is difficult to say. I personally believe that the developers of animations has a limited specific task, they do not have such global plans, as the developers who are presented here.

too much effort. the proper way to do it would be creating your own sounds in something like fl studio(which is not easy in this case) and adjusting tempo, tone, etc. to sync with visuals. it feels cheap when devs add generic sounds that don't even match the movements on the screen.

and you pretty much have to hire a voice actor if you want your character to sound exactly the same in each scene. most devs cannot afford it.

It's too much work for the developers and makes the game a bit uncanny

Sex sounds are really annoying if not made out of real lust. There is not much more of a down turner than a woman start moaning, before you even did anything. And the same is for games. The games with sex sounds start right away at lewd scenes and in an endless loop. That´s trash and the scene becomes the opposite of being naughty or stimulating.

The sex sounds are often bad and too damn loud. Don't need everyone in the neighborhood think I'm watching porn. The music is almost always terrible and always too damn loud. Often terrible generic music or some new crap I don't like (I like very, very little music made after about 1990.)

I personally don't care about them because most of them are crap and sound like porn redub.

I find personally that it can be fairly annoying since it is just the same stuff looped. Also my imagination tends to fill it in more, just feels more unnecessary to me.

I think it's a lot of work, maybe the developer doesn't have a team for that, just having the scenes and subtitles running is enough.

My recent experience with that, which left a bad impression was Astral Lust where it sounded like an old grandma going "Oh yeah" and it kinda ruined every scene with that.
