I'd go with sister, and I don't even have to feel weird about it because I never had a sister IRL. To be honest, I'll accept any relationship in a VN because if I don't I feel bad, even though they are all just imaginary characters. If it's a relationship that doesn't interest me, I'll just fast forward through the scenes. I really don't care about the actual relationship between characters; you can call a LI your mother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, roommate, landlady, teacher, classmate, childhood friend, or just some rando you met this morning (as long as the visual depiction matches up with who they are, so it's not a distraction). I just want them to be cute/attractive and reasonably nice or with a good reason not to be (tsundere is fine, so is someone having a hard time due to trauma or other experience, just not someone being an awful person because they want to be).

My preferance is sister, mainly due to the fact that since I do not have a sister its harder for my brain to think too much about the whole thing. like I enjoy incest in games, forbidden fruit tastes best, but like Irl I want nothing to do with the idea.
