discussion Which games would you like to see finished (to a decent conclusion)?

They are not abandoned. They are being worked on still so I wouldn't put in a category to have someone else finish. Sure I'd like it to be done but he's said he's taking his time and is active on communication.

So sorry to hear about your hard drive. Hopefully someone can save the be data. If I remember correctly triangle involved a married lawyer/ professional couple taking in a girl who was an old friend if the family. The girl becomes romantically involved with both husband and wife. The wife and girl both end up giving birth to MC"s kids. If that's the right game I thought it was finished. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure the game is censored and the girl is supposed to be your niece from your wife's side. She lost her parents and ends up cohabiting with you. I played it back when I wasn't playing with mods/patches and wasn't aware of the roommate/landlords and other "alterations". Yes it is finished and they do indeed give birth. The girl even babysits them and their relationship is harmonious. It's one of the rare solid short games.

The unfinished (for whatever reason) games I'd like to see completed are:
1. Ecchi Sensei. It had great characters and good storyline. I really got into some of the girls
2. Kindred the redburns. The relationships between the MC and his sister and mother was well written. And who doesn't like fighting zombies
3. Shadows over mansion
(formerly the manifest). A MC working in an all girls school plot always works for me.
4. Eye of the storm. I loved the drama between characters and the suspense of a killer running around while a dangerous cyclone is passing over. The blind girl was really cute too.
5. Gates motel. Other than reminding me of the classic Hitchcock movie, the relationship between siblings and the MC with the wild desert girl caught my attention.

Just curious but how hard would it be for an experienced or knowledgeable developer to pickup the game and finish it? Has anyone ever tried or succeeded?

The rework was crap. not needed at all and a huge mistake

I would add Midlife Crisis, which i dont knoiw if the Dev is still working on iot, since it seems like nothing is happening

And Proud Father, which again, i dont know if it will end up being finished

What was the name of the off shoot vis game? It was vis beginnings, or vis origins. I can't remember, it was vis something and it was a little different than vis. Have you played it?

i think it was called Vis Origins, never played it (female protag an v0.01)

- great choices actually! I would add Love and Submission, Bad Teacher, Banking on Bella, Oopsy Daisy, Chemical Change and This is Not Heaven. This is if limiting list to five. Sadly alot of great games get thrown to a trashbin.

Kindred actually has sorta spiritual successor in Deadmoon Survival.

Yes deadmoon survival is a great game. Another similar one was Now and Then. It seems like it got cut short. It just ended abruptly. I was be waiting for the next update to see how the MC's relationship with the rich girl who owned the seaside mansion would play out and how the locals would rebuild the town....but it just ended. Too quick, I wish there was more.

I'm not sure if they're abandoned or if the developer has just been busy. I hope they update them as I really liked both games

I think it's still on F95 but not sure, there are 3 full routes released but I don't think there has been an update in 4/5 years now there were supposed to be another 3 /4 routes
