discussion What's your size limit on games

I dont have a limit size for games space, if i want to play the game , i will play it, if i need to arrange space, i will delete some other finished game.

I have a few games over 20 GB that are still getting updates so I don't have a limit if there is enough content. What I don't like are 5GB renpy games that end up having almost no content

It comes down to the downloads for me, as long as the game is broken down into parts that is 5gb download.

On average 5 gigabytes, maximum 10; beyond that, even if I have plenty of space, I think about it a bit to make sure it's worth it.

10 gigabytes is the maximum limit i prefer download games.

Not really got any limit, I have had games taking 100gb of space and played it if I want. So it really depends of how much I want to play the game.

My bars are already red, so suddenly I care a lot more about the games not being huge and not super poorly optimized. I take the game of Sekiro as a reference, with a size of only 14 GB. As to what can be put into 14 GB of storage. A measuring stick many games already have fallen by and made space. Previously I didn't care but I really have only 50 GB to play with now.

I once downloaded 16 gb game only to uninstall it in a few minutes, generally not a good sign for a game to be that heavy

I do not mind game weight as much as I dislike wasted time on downloading and unpacking and then deleting a bad game

I don't have a size limit, but it is a pain when the file is huge and the site your downloading from is really slow. But I haven't seen many games that are all that large.

up to ~1.5G in general, up to ~2-3 if it looks really good, might go up to 10 or _maybe_ higher if it's a really good one I already know and it's already compressed.

20 in this day and age? No limit for me really, my internet speed is my bottleneck. I did recently play the new COD MW games which are like 100+ gigs each. I got a good amount of space so it's not really an issue, had like 300 gigs for about 18 years though, that was a pain.

Why care about storage when storage goes up to teras
tho I usually play games around 5GBs cos that's a sweet spot for games with more than enough content and not just wasting space on my pc

I have a 1 TB drive full of games, i have another 500 GB SSD full of nsfw games (in each there is around 100-150 gb free)

so, as long as they are not full, i am installing

Non-adult games? Several go up to 150GB. Adult games don't really go past 5-10GB.

I guess my only limit is how much my hard drive can handle, but if I see a game and realize it’s very large, whether I decide to play it will depend on whether I’m genuinely interested in it or if I think I might like it.

I won’t download a very large game just to try it out, but if it’s something I like, or if it really appeals to me, or if someone recommended it to me, then I won’t worry about the file size.

Adult games - I could save up to 15GB. I don't think that most people play more than 1 adult games in the same time...
