Whats your favorite Engine for games?

Ren'Py is the safest and likely to be the best. RPGM for very specific scenarios and game types. HTML if there are a lot of choices in the game.
Adrift and Tads if you want to remember the old days.

Definitely renpy for playing As a unity dev I have to say it's so easy to make a mess of your game.

Prefer RenPy, but mainly it depends on the game itself, the gameplay , interface, and storyline. There's some good Unity ones out there.

at least you have the option to speed through the conversations that the developer spent hours to write... to get to the good stuff

I would say RPG maker is the worst for AVNs
