I can't ever remember koikatsu from honey select, but both of them require REALLY GOOD USE of lighting, and it's something 99% of people using it DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO. But I've seen a few that look just incredible with those two as well. Still something I'm really picky about.
If it's DAZ, find clothes that don't wrap around boobs. Like, the cloth is stretched across booba, not glued to the cleavage of booba.
And for the love of god, TITTIES, MOVE, PEOPLE. If a girl's getting pounded, the booba swing. If your girl is doing a handstand, booba are on her chin hanging upside down. If you pick the biggest booba size but don't make booba move go fix it. I'm okay with Daz, but if booba don't move, it's a Barbie doll, and no.
If it's not realistic attempts with DAZ, the style in Mist was really good (I think booba were static, but they were teacup booba and the rest of the style was unique). I'd kill to see a Pixar-esque Helen Parr. For drawn, the Siren artist (Zombie Retreat), or Warlocks and Boobs, or Summertime Saga stand out. I also (what was it...) sanguine rose? What a Legend has a great style too. However the Taboo Tales style kinda weirds me and i don't know why. Honestly, and this might be sad, the closer to InCase's style the better. So long as there's genuine skill and effort, I'm fine with it, I'm just too irritated by little errors like clipping, but that's all games. And especially AAA milion-dollar studios that can't manage basic clipping on ANIMATIONS.
I think I just like a consistent style with at least a little polish. It can be kinda scribbley, or cartoony, or comicy, or pixel art, so long as it's consistent. And though I love Grandma's House very, very much, he does tend to have the models lay in EXACTLY the same position with only hands, heads, or limbs slightly moving between stills, and that takes me out of it.
Oh, and I just played through Monkey Business. It was good, even though your sister looked twice her age; mom was insanely hot. But at one point MC sits up and the light is coming in a window in the morning, and his whole neck is lit up and hollow, like a water balloon, like he was a sack of goo with no bones or organs. I laughed my ass off. I don't know the engine, though, and the facial expressions were stellar, as were booba and boota moving, so I didn't mind it. It was just that the engine made the models sorta-translucent all the way thru.
Anybody know the engine Monkey Business used? It was kinda unique from my perspective.
