It's not quite right to use the word “everybody”. I, for example, have not used such services and do not plan to do so in the future.

AI chatbots is just advanced parasocial interaction. It's not healthy if it becomes an obsession or a form of escapism.
It's also a way to reinforce thoughts and desires that you can't talk about with other people making them harder to break away from if they are something you are wary of.

One just has to be aware of what a chatbot is and what it is not, and one should be fine to use it.
What it is: entertainment, like a game, a show or a (fiction) book.
What is it NOT: your friend, your GF, a teacher, your therapist, a real person...

tl:dr. it's fine to use it to pass the time but don't try to learn anything form it.

The janitorai bot wont complain (in private chats). You just have to be careful to not make anything public that's against their TOS so the mods don't hit you with a hammer.
It's no a great bot for making long stories though.

You get 5 points for everything you write, or when someone upvotes you etc. If you put that in the back every day you get 2% over it, that should be enough to get you members+ and prestige 1 (which is upvoting everyone without delay).

Want to know what everybody thinks about NSFW chat bots like janitorai. Do y'all think they get awkward to use after a while or just plain boring? Do some of you guys enjoy talking to them for a while? Personally I'm sort of in the middle, it gets boring to use after a while but you can still do a lot of fun scenarios with them.

I never really had a thing for chatting in general but I feel like you could do more with bots easier than people..

I tried Dittin and Muah, as well as a couple of others i can't remember the name of. It's kind of fun. You can get some pretty sexy scenes but it can be a lot of work to set all that up and it gets repetitive after a while. Another problem is short memory. Most chatbots only have pretty short context memory which mean's you can't really make a proper story from it, just little scenes mainly

There are local and less censored LLM's, you need pretty beafy VRAM though, but 12g you can run them just fine for a while before it slows down.

Chatbots are a billion dollar business(more now with AI boom), I think people underestimate how lonely the society is.

It's bad enough that I hang out here on regular occasion talking with you pervs. If I'm ever found to be knowingly using a chatbot, that would put me beyond pathetic - just put one behind my ear and be done with it.
