I don't enjoy using AI for my own creative directions, but having a conversation with an AI is a great past time. I haven't used AI to have a lewd conversation or role play and my stance on that is I don't feel anything from it knowing that they aren't conscious and they can't be a 1-1 replica of what I want them to be

I actually discovered this very recently when one of the guys on the forum mentioned something called Perchance. Like with everything, you need to know how to use it. I think it's not yet on the level of creating a character that will truly imitate a real person...

However, just for writing stories and creating cool, complex characters and plot twists related to the story you are making, it is great fun.

The only downside is that with time you start noticing the limitations in free or ready-made solutions like Perchance, where building a story with one character is very cool and satisfying, but creating a whole world and interesting relationships between multiple characters is rather impossible.

That's why I'm planning to test SillyTavern soon, which seems to have much more advanced options, and where you can connect an external LLM, for example from OpenRouter.

Anyway, for me it is definitely something worth checking out.
