Atari 2600 was the first one I played on, but the first one I owned was a NES. Still have an Atari 2600, sadly I don't have the NES any more it is the only system I played that I don't own anymore.

I cant say for sure if it was our first console. But my oldest gaming memory is playing (I think) battletoads/double dragon on the NES with my great grandpa when i was tiny. The man had to be in his mid to late 90s at that point and I distinctly remember him just walking off the top/bottom of the stage over and over again with no clue what was going on.
That guy fuckin sucked at video games . Rip in peace grandpa.
