Oh boy I remember it very clearly it's like a core memory for me so it'll be a slightly long post.

Definitely Summertime Saga during it's earliest versions. It was around the time when it was getting frequent but short updates. Talking about 1 or 2 scenes per update within 2-4 weeks. And way before Patreon banned incest as well.
Back then I was just playing that. But then it switched to a different update cycle where it would take more time to release updates but they were already complete routes on-release.
Since I know Japanese, started playing Japanese VNs w/ Katawa Shoujo and other Eroge like Majikoi & Monster Girl Quest.

I started branching out to non-japanese games by googling "Games similar to Summertime Saga", found a video on youtube about Insexual Awakening 1 and it was the first I picked up and enjoyed it a lot. Also discovered the AVN Community during that. As a matter of fact, my Fuck95 account is created 1 month after IA1 was released. Then Zombie's Life & Urban Demons from Nergal's Nest, and Four Elements Trainer.

I only tried games w/ Drawn Art since I didn't like 3D back then. But since there are only a few good drawn art games back then, started to try 3D games with Milfy City when it's reputation was still decent and it just went on from there to now where I'm currently at. 6+ years later and I've tried hundreds of titles by now. Some people enjoy their hobbies related to this like reading erotic novels or making doujinshi(Japanese porn comics), I guess this is mine, playing Adult Games/VN
