Not a TV show or movie (although I really hope it gets picked up for TV or a movie trilogy), but I think the Mistborn novels by Sanderson could be adapted into excellent open world action games, with minor RPG elements. Sanderson's hard magic system translates incredibly well to games imo. The game would feature a city biome with a mix of Spiderman and Assassin's Creed exploration and NPC mechanics, but with the very grim tone of the series and specifically the Luthadel capital. Mistborn's powers include 1) buffs to physical strength, speed and sensory awareness, 2) telekinetic powers to fight and zip around the city, 3) influencing NPCs emotions to unlock dialogue choices and events, 4) stealth and anti-stealth skills, 5) a costly superskill that allows the user to see echoes of his enemy's future moves for a few milliseconds and even more specialized ones. As for the story, a prequel set in Luthadel, with some recurring entagonists from the immortal ones, would probably be better that playing in the shoes of the books' protagonists.

Dollhouse - Show wasn't well received but the premise might be fun for an AVN.
Firefly - Lots of variety from frontier to futuristic, and if you fuck up, the Reavers get ya.
Farscape - Lots of aliens.

a parody of the VVitch - bit of a slow-burn corruption game where you basically try and corrupt young maidens and entice them into doing more lewd and degenerate things, while you gaslight settlers and make them think the devil was responsible for everything.

I know they did it with Game of Thrones, but I wouldn't mind seeing a House of the Dragon telltale game. I actually thought the GoT one was kind of cool
