Its not a in game trope, but damm it hate when devs keep remastering the same game over and over, not adding any content, its just so painful to wait months for something and bam, nothing new

Long ago there was a Cheat enabled version of Super Power. You can have a shot with a certain power. It was fun because you could skip hours of bullshit grinding and just start f the girls you wanted. I destroyed my phone had to buy a new one and afterwards that version had been replaced without the Cheats version and I haven't bothered trying to play since. Normally I can't stand cheating but there's so Damned much mother f grinding that it's not even worth it without cheating.

The trope that annoys me the most is when you spend time trying to get a girl to like you and have sex with you. Mostly in taboo or games where you seduce a girl that hated you they suddenly regret it then wont talk to you . You then have to spend an hour or two in game to convince them that it wasn't a mistake then it goes right back to normal.

Maybe more a genre than trope hate but I can't stand the latest flood of games set up as text conversation on mobile. Extremely boring and a lame way to avoid actually making a visual novel.

Sorry to hark back to the start of the thread but ESPECIALLY the 'step-' thing when theres no rename option. Worst I've seen was the 'Landlady, Tenant' family replacers that made you have to reread every sentence to work out what's going on. That and when devs clearly get bored of a story and skip a bunch just to get somewhere with content.

I agree with this one. It really isn't how it works. Spending half a game trying to seduce someone reluctant only for them to be more than happy for the MC to bang everyone else whenever they like. I don't know how it would work if all the girls in these games weren't chill about this. It would incentivize going back and exploring all paths.
Also I think it would be pretty funny and I'd like to see if it felt more believable to have a female MC with a harem of guys. It would be interesting to see how their reactions were written.

The trope I hate the most is that a decent/good looking guy never could get a girl (even for just sex) before the game started, but almost directly from the beginning of the game women are throwing themselves to his feet.

I'm not talking specifically about specific kinks you may dislike, but rather the trends that are the most annoying to you.

For example, I hate the "step-bro" trope, where developers badly try to cover up a taboo kink by tacking a random descriptor in front of it (3000 year old loli also counts towards this trope)

The mc being edgy, most of the times it seems annoying, even though the intention is for him to be cool
