3 Years of Service
When you've been playing adult games for many years you find yourself forgetting some of the greats, especially those that were made in older engines that no longer work or those whose creators abandoned the project. Maybe you haven't been around for very long and are looking for some lost treasures that are harder to find these days. What are some older adult games that you still think about from time to time? (They don't have to be 20+ years old to count, even 5 years is a long time when it comes to porn). I'll get the ball rolling.
For me Slavemaker will always be one of the best trainer games ever made even though it was never close to finished and became a community developed game. The flexibility of the system made it fairly easy to add custom girls and fetishes so there was always new content being added and even variants of the same girls to cater to different tastes. Years later I still open it up every now and then.
Crusoe Had It Easy would be considered pretty unremarkable if it was released today but Western incest Visual Novels were not common back when it was first released, in fact this was before Patreon banned such content and it was later in development that they had to use cheat codes to unlock incest after the policy was introduced. Even so Crusoe remains a great example of the genre and the story is short and simple enough that you can reach the end in one sitting but still feeling satisfied, plus it has great replay value as different codes significantly change the story with alternate stories where the love interest is your sister, daughter, a cat girl, an elf and more. I wish that more game devs would look to games like this as a blueprint for telling a good story and moving on rather than the seemingly endless bloated VNs that just keep adding new characters.
