If it's enjoyable r*pe, it's fine, as it's part of the charm of the fictional universes
If it's sadistic, and not enjoyable for the "recipient", then it's not okay and I can't get off to it

That would be excessive grinding (too many quests, etc) and/or a very bad plot. I also dislike when porn games use the same people with the same hairstyles because it seems repetitive, and even though porn games don't have high standards, I like it when there's diversity

Don't disagree, but with upwards of 60%+ of women fantasizing being forced into sex... Don't think I can moralize people in fantasy VN's. I mean, have you read some of the more popular women's [dark] romance novels?

Mental illness does exist. Still doesn't make the act of forced intercourse a good thing in any scenario.

Women that fantasize about it probably haven't experienced it. I know women that have and they will never be whole again. If I were to ever catch a guy attempting it, he'd need a body bag, not a gurney.

I'm sure most people would agree that murder is bad. Yet, many video games allow it - heck, they encourage it. It's self-evident that rape is bad. I don't think I've ever seen a case where it was openly cheered or encouraged.

A lot of people probably don't know this, but the most common fantasy's for women involve power dynamics. Losing power. Gaining power. I'm sure most women wouldn't think of themselves as children, but the number of them that like being spanked is pretty high. Ever met someone that has been bullied? What do you think their fantasy might be? In many cases it's gaining power over their aggressors. It's a power dynamic. Plus, women get turned on by male qualities of strength, decisiveness, taking charge, fighting for them, etc... Things that skirt some pretty dark areas (but no one likes to talk about).

Anyway, I don't think anyone disagrees with you. We should bury those people under the prison. But, that isn't what we're really talking about here. If you begin to fantasize and plan these things, yeah, that's a step too far. Just like if you staring thinking about shooting up your school after watching Platoon, the movie.

I would suggest that all humans have some degree of mental defect - it's one reason you have a job. Being "controlled" is one thing; being brutalized and sexually assaulted by another person is beyond that, and if someone seriously wants that to happen to them, fantasizes about it, and gets off to it, then, yes, I'd suggest they have some kind of serious underlying mental issue.

Well, the distinction is a pretty thin one considering you're here, a place that supports what most Western cultures consider, by legal definition, a form of rape (Games+), statutory or otherwise. And, by your suggestion, "all human's" would then by definition make "defects" the norm. (In truth, it's more of a neutral emotional homeostatic equilibrium).

You're entitled to your own opinions of course. As well as your moral stances, but don't be surprised that this distinction would be lost on many, if not most, casual outside observers. Or perhaps seen a rationalization of competing idealism's that is deep into the territory of moral turpitude.

I'll second this one. I don't mind lighter or darker themes or any particular acts being portrayed, but when it just becomes ridiculous and impossible to follow, that's a turn off. As part of that, when it gets too referential. i don't care what other creators someone is friends with, or if they put cute little inside jokes in the game. Just tell a story and show me smut.

My perfect example of what I hate in a porn game is Legend of Queen Opala: Origin. The issue is how the main story has not advanced in years, keeps adding on side quests and random shit to do. some of em pretty damn kinky and nice to look at, but not to do. The entirety of LoQo isi a grind, I don't mind long stories as long as they are at least somewhat good. Besides with SethxZoe being gone from the project going forwards(unless that decision changed in the last month or two I haven't bothered hearing or searching news up on LoQo) the next time I checkout the game and actually download it again is when the story advances.

you know that screen the most heinous of sandbox vn's have, where you finish the prologue, and suddenly you're in the MC's bedroom with stat bars icons maps and some kind of clock that is often nothing more than confusing versions of how much sun is out during different parts of the day instead of just saying morning noon night. yeah, when that screen pops up, i automatically know im never gonna finish the game and immediately search for gallery mods online, if finding one use it, check out the lewds, or not find one and either way i quit the game, delete the file and go on with my life.

and often games without skip unseen and rollback options i dont stick with. some days i get distracted easily and find ive lost track of where the story is going. so being able to scroll back a bit re read prior pages then skip back to where i was when before is really helpful. also i get a weird nerve twitch ever since carpal tunnel where sometimes i misclick or double click keyboard and mouse, and for some reason happens on choice screens where i make a choice without even having a chance to read the options. the convenience of roll back and skip are just things i cant live without anymore.

And then you get the sandbox games that don't have the usual buttons on the top of the screen or just have really confusing layouts like you gotta open up the settings to find those pages. Another thing is just like the random hidden things needed to unlock stuff like talk to this npc at this location at this time and day and then come back the next day

Any sort of forced extreme violence against others. I get if the character is a mobster or a bad person that there can be violence or violent encounters but it’s so much better if there’s a knock out or let them live or convert them to an ally option than oops guess we have to kill them.

Not 100% of the time but can definitely kill my enjoyment faster than anything else - no pun intended.

Oddly in non-H games I don’t mind immoral violence and sometimes pick those options if they’re more fun or convenient. I guess it sort of kills the mood in H-game context instead of adding spice to an RPG.

Anyone else feel similarly?
