I didn't play that one, but tonal shifts are just so jarring sometimes, and it's not like it was foreshadowed or something, it's more like; I'm just going to do this even if it makes sense

I've learned to just filter out "sandbox" as a tag, as it's pretty much never done well - and to filter in "vaginal sex" - and only Renpy.

there are some AVNs that have LI just treat the MC like crap or will do real shady shit in the story. The MC will ether just accept the complete disrespect or ignore it and let it go on. The spinelessness of some of these MCs will get called dumbass or other shit by the LI constantly. Maybe I can take it if its early in the story and the relationships between the MC and LI hasn't developed quite yet but after awhile that would stop you'd think.

some sandbox games arnt to bad like Desert Stalker. no grindy shit no searching for shit to click on. has side-stories but it doesn't take away from the main parts. but I can understand theres alot of bad sandbox games that almost look good until that tag comes up

Too much micro management is a good way to make me quit a game. I don't want to eat and shave and keep my hydration up, I do that irl already.

Come Home is a good one - where it's basically which characters to interact with. If it would be a true open world and not "guess the next place to go to advance the story" - which is even worse if it has time and has to be a specific time - and doesn't have grinding.

honestly when the game is too unserious about itself. really takes it out of me makes me feel like im just playing a carnival game of sex. which is fine if its actually one of those games with no story but if its an AVN then it turns me away from it.

I can't tolerate having to figure out puzzles. I do enough mystery solving in my programming life, I want my adult gameplay to be either non-existent or simply put: fun.
If grinding is implemented in a fun manner, I can manage. If not, I won't play but instead extract the images/videos.

for me the point of a porn game is the GAME part so i hold them to a basic level of design quality. good pacing, fun mechanics, ect

My moral line is like this (in fiction):
If it's enjoyable r*pe, it's fine, as it's part of the charm of the fictional universes
If it's sadistic, and not enjoyable for the "recipient", then it's not okay and I can't get off to it
