What make you pass the game?

Sometimes the History, sometimes the Art and sometimes the Animations but if one game have the 3 specs its perfect to me xD

If the minigames are either broken, are too long to actually play, aren't fun or take too long to grind. Also games with no choices whatsoever

Lackluster art is the first and probably biggest hurdle. After that, poor use of english always throws me off.

i usually ignore games done with HS, Koikatsu and Anime games, then i see the render quality and the tags, if i like the renders i don't care much about the tags

Extreme body part sizes...
Bad story...
Bad coding...
Dev makes players go through hoops to get to the content...

For me to pass the game it has to be either bad generic models, or simply ugly looking models, or it having tags that just...no (gore, scat, etc}. I try to give every game i see a chance (given that the plot seems somewhat interesting)

I pass on scat, prolapse and unrealisitic proportions on humanoids.

if the previews show nothing sexy or if the duration seems too short or too early in development

It may seem strange but many times what motivates me to finish a game is to finish it xd, basically I don't like leaving H games halfway, but the ones I start and I don't like those if I don't finish them

  • DAZ art if it's not unusually well done. It seems to be significantly harder to get right than Honey Select or Koikatsu.
  • Exaggerated body parts
  • Japanese shovelware
  • Visual novels avoiding Ren'Py for no good reason
  • 3D games without at least a couple of reviews, or with reviews mentioning poor performance
  • Too amateurish stuff, such as things implemented in RPG Maker for no legitimate reason
  • Excessively grindy stuff

When a DAZ game has that uncanny lifeless look on their models with dead eyes.

poor lightning, posing, facial expressions etc things that make it not visually appealing

If the creator is known to abandon games. The part of the game may that is released may very well be good. But I don't want to get invested in a story that leads nowhere. So trail of abandoned games is a red flag for me.

See the appearance of the mc if he is ugly or very old, then the story if he has something that is not avoidable will abandon him. Another if I play sandbox, I always install it and see the accessibility if it is easy or complex, if it is complex I abandon it. I also check the genre labels.

"sandbox" Nothing worse than running to earn money and then right back to home to "sleep" so you can repeat, like 10 times, just so you can advance the game. Repetition is NOT the spice of life.

outrageous proportions and overused plot points are the big two "Chad Thundercock with his 19inch penis has just found out his dad died so he has to return home to support his 20 year old mom and sisters"
Also forced sex. Like if i play a game with a main love interest then sure i get it but why are you forcing me to watch a sex scene with the grandma down the road?
