Sorry but I'm confused. Are you for or against holding government officials accountable. Most of your statement reads like you're agreeing with me. But I don't understand that last part.
I'm agreeing with you. The last sentence was directed towards politicians, not towards you.

Bring back the national speed limit, but 45 rather than 55.
Every additional mph over is a $500 fine
10mph+ is 30 day license suspension for 10 + 30 more each additional mph
15mph+ is 30 days in jail for 15 and 30 more for each additional mph
Emergencies are exempt
so 20 mph over would be a $10,000 fine, 330 day license suspension and 180 days in jail.
License suspension not counted until out of jail, if sent.
I take it you've never driven down the Autobahn. It's a lot of fun going 100 mph down the freeway, until your rental car starts making weird noises. More seriously though I'd go the other direction and set a minimum speed limit for any highway with more than 2 total lanes and without traffic lights to 80. You don't have to go that fast if you don't want to, just stay in the rightmost lanes.

Nope. Never been out of the US or the Eastern time zone. Haven't been out of Pennsylvania in over 30 years. Luckily it's still 55 most places, only 1 road anywhere nearby is 65. I can't drive due to health, but people drive too fast. 45 is plenty. Residential areas should be 25.

Public bank records for politicians.
If they have foreign accounts where they try to hide their assets/money, they should have all of it confiscated and be severely punished. Lifetime in a labor camp sounds good to me.

No more campaign donations or spending by politicians for campaigns - it only keeps the rich in power. If anyone is running and has enough following, they all get equal funding by the government. Lying in an ad disqualifies them from office for life.

Curtailing the rights of citizens to fight government corruption makes zero sense. If you let the government decide which campaigns they fund, you're only further centralizing power in the government and disenfranchising the common man. I think a better alternative is to ONLY allow individual citizens to donate to political campaigns. Ban corporations, PACs, and every other form of lobby groups from being able to donate to campaigns.

The give me everything for free law.

Mandatory 6 month term working in fast-food or retail for everyone between the ages of 16-20.

Everyone should know what it's like to be on the receiving end of a nasty customer.

I have three.

Completely stop corporate lobbying of politicians and bodies of government.

Also ban people who make more than a certain amount or certain net worth from running for office at all.

And lastly, anyone who somehow magically makes millions of dollars while in office will be thoroughly financially audited and investigated.

All politicians shall be held accountable for the decisions they make or their votes on all matters. I'm too tired of them doing whatever they want because they know theres no consequences.
Preferably some kind of public hearing after certain period of time so normal people can judge them

You people think too small. I mean you get to make a law and you can't do something REALLY important? For myself I would need TWO laws (though 1 would be a good start).

1) Outlaw the creation, ownership, and/or consumption of Oatmeal Raisin Cookies without a valid prescription from a doctor (for Diabetics and such).

2) ALL households MUST have 2 DOZEN fresh Chocolate Chip Cookies at ALL times.

See I think BIG.

Just a thought.
I like Oatmeal Raisin Cookies :(

I wouldn't pass any laws, as we're already over-regulated as it is. I'd rather just repeal a bunch laws to make citizens freer from rampant government overreach. For example, in China I'd give citizens freedom of speech. In the Western world I'd expand the scope of free speech and get rid of so-called hate speech laws, giving citizens the right to question their government, question big tech, question big corp, and question big pharma without the fear of being censored, imprisoned, or labeled as "conspiracy theorists" or istaphobes.

The only new laws I'd pass are laws to restrict the reach and scope of government.
Repealing laws is definitely a good start. I would add in that every law expires every year and must be read in full, debated with evidence and voted on again, making all these bogus laws expire because the time to read and debate uses up the time to vote, and only the most important laws get passed each year.

I agree completely with the first and the third. The second one doesn't make any sense. Restricting the rights of government and politicians is good and necessary, but restricting the rights of citizens isn't. Why punish successful people for being successful? Government is filled with career politicians who have (proudly and admittedly) never worked a real job a day in their lives, and we're all much worse off for it.

I'd rather have a wealthy, successful businessman manage the economy than a career politician.

Choose your politicians like you'd choose an investment manager.

Be critical of your sources.. You thinking it is a myth does not make it so
My sources are medievalist historians.
There are no trace in historical sources of that habit.
Not even one medieval chronicle, literary text, or law book addresses the Jus Primae Noctis
It's one of the many Middle Age myths, like chastity belts and similar things
Maybe good for adult VN, but it never existed.

Actually a good idea would be to limit how many politicians can come from backgrounds in business and law. If you look at congress, that's most of them - and for president all that came from business have been disasters. As Neil DeGrasse Tyson said, "where are the scientists?" a decent Understanding Science today is pretty important for anyone making laws. Quite a few have less than what a Junior High School kid should have to have to pass 7th or 8th grade. WAY less for some. Science shouldn't be political.

I suspect this boils down to which unnamed historian suit your preferred narrative.
Blanket statements about any age you have not lived in yourself does a disservice to science and history.
I suppose the following sources are all bogus then; since they are from a wiki page:
