For me the top two worst love interests are:

Prostitute. I can't save her, I can't fix her, I don't want to be around her. No thanks.

Skanky Bartender. Almost the same reason as the prostitute. She's been around... a lot, or maybe she's super picky, but either way, she's just not really interesting.

It doesn't kill me if a girl has been around a bit. (like a mom, ect) But when its clear they've been around a lot? Nope.

Anyone else have "No thanks!" love interests?

For me, IRL or not, love and sex rarely mix. I don't love my SIlicon Masturbator, but I fuck it close to destruction. maybe I'm broken, but sex with loved ones are just some tame intimacy that comes with the relationship, sex on the truest sense only comes when feelings are not present.

If that is what he's talking about, you don't have sex with either alien spider love interest while that are in spider form. On the other hand if you want to fuck a cute spider try Stray Incubus.

I don't like hard sadism in either direction so "love interests" that just spend their time calling the MC a piece of shit or insulting them aren't appealing to me. A little teasing or brattiness is fine. Tsunderes are annoying for basically the same reason.
