Personally I hate the common male VN "oh your whole family are dead except your distant auntie, uncle and cousin who you will be going to stay with" there are simply better ways to introduce a male protag, hate this is so common

I agree and even further, I hate when games try to make it as close as possible to incest without it being incest. A perfect example is summertime saga like bro just call it your mom and your sister. Its not like the game isn't still trying to depict it as being taboo.

Related to that one, but I heavily dislike the "bully sister who rates you lower than worms" stereotype. Yes, like the one in Summertime Saga.

Yeah, the cunty sister trope is usually pretty annoying.
Horsecock MCs (more often found in HoneySelect) can be pretty ridiculous too.
More of a "oh here we go again", than true annoyance are the stock location scenes that appear in almost all DAZ games (bathroom peek, clothes shopping, yoga, pool, movie night, etc)

Not often used, but text-messaging in game, when it appears as a notification, you have to click on the phone icon, find the messaging icon, find the relevant message in the list, before you can advance.
Can be done so much more smoothly, but seldom is.

The worst thing I can think of is the panty dropper MC, when every girl just throws themselves on the MC without effort or tension it just feels empty.
