I don't remember honestly. I think back in my early years I was enchanted by video games as a whole. It felt magical, like a portal to another world.

This might technically be the first "fighting game" that started the genre of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. It was a few years before Karate Champ hit the arcades.

I first played this one in 1980

Boulder Dash on my big brother's Commodore 64 was the first game I really wanted to play as much as possible, whenever my brother graciously indulged me for a few minutes (or more likely my mom forced him to let me have a go).

I grew up watching my brother play his Sega Dreamcast and then my other brother got a PS1 but as the youngest i rarely actually got to play but i did get to see games like metal Gear Solid 1 Shadow Moses and like Soul Reaver/Legacy of kane

It was a coin operated game. Its either Pac-Man or Donkey Kong, but I know how obsessed I was with Donkey Kong, so I will say that. There is also all the classic space shooters, Galaga, Galaxian, Space Invaders.

Probably watching my older brother playing Dragon's Lair at the arcade.

the first game i ever played was an old arcade version of asteriod. i remember watching my uncle play lots of super mario, but it wasn't until years later that i picked out a random playstation game from a bargain bin for my parents to buy. it turned out to be metal gear solid. that was my first real experience actually getting enthralled and transported into a new world with games. imo, i couldn't have gotten luckier with that random game snag.
I don't know if any particular game got me into "gaming", I think most of us just play games and either like them or not. I played asteroid etc. on the first Atari, and also played on early Apple IIe, IMB PC Compatible with monochrome (all types with white, amber and green only), CGA, EGA, VGA, S-VGA monitors, DOS games etc. Just kept on playing and never looked back.

I was never much of a console gamer however with the exception of the first NES, as I did not like controllers and also unfortunately never had an Amiga.

Soul Reaver was pretty peak!

Soul Reaver was pretty peak!
I have not bought the remaster yet but it looks great even now i can still remember the games opening when Kane breaks Raziels wings and the voice acting still holds even today up witch is uncommon for a ps1 game

The game that made me ask my parents for a PS1 was Disney's Hercules. I had a Sega Genesis before, but I can't remember what game made me ask for it.

Watching my sister play Spyro and Harvest Moon on the PS1 during my early years.

Tomb Raider with my dad, I think I was in charge of the interaction button or something, my older sister did the jumping I think, It was on PC

probably pokemon, I played some other games before but the gameboy was my first console

It's a toss up between Tetris and Tekken. But aside from those two probably the harvest moon series I can't remember which game from it I first played

Some early version of Minecraft hooked me in and since then I've been chasing down the same feelings I felt when I first started exploring the world. I can remember it like yesterday, talking to my friend on the phone and asking about things I see on the screen

One of the games that remained most in my heart was 'Secret of Evermore' on Super Nintendo
my first RPG game.
I have replayed it a lot of times without knowing anything about English and therefore without understanding the story very well.

Once upon a time...
