I like parodies that portrays characters that i recognise from my childhood, especially combined with a corruption scenario. Seeing those naive characters being slowly descending into depravity is very satisfying.

I'm in favor of parodies, there is so much material out there for a dev to be "inspired" by its kind of ridiculous we get the same games over and over again.
I think a certain type of parody can put a game in a niche corner though, for instance, I didn't watch a lot of cartoons in the 2000's, so games based on Kim Possible or The Powderpuff Girls aren't going to have as much interest for me. Cartoon parodies like that would also necessarily need to be in their respective art styles and that may make the games even less attractive for someone browsing through the games section just looking for something new. That being said though, a 3D poser or AI game set in the universe of a popular TV show or movie opens up nearly endless possibilities depending on what kind of story a dev wants to tell and wouldn't need to be held back by a specific art style.
I'm old, and right now there's a lot of TV shows/Movies from the 70's, 80's, and 90's running through my head that would make excellent porn parody games.
I'd love for someone to make a "Brady Bunch" game, imagine if the parents got to know each other at swingers' parties before their spouses died/divorced/whatever? You could make a whole series out of that TV show, just make short games roughly based on the most iconic episodes. Or you could make a longer single game where the parents slowly corrupt each of their kids to bring them in on the bedroom games culminating in the big trip to Hawaii. (New Idea: You play as Peter and you just discovered the Tiki statue which grants you corruption powers over the family, who do you start with first?)

It feels like parody games tend to have more content than most games because they have some source material to build from.

Humour is always subjective. While many parody games are not funny and just use the characters from certain ip, some are pretty great and good for a chuckle. I usually find the ones that are based on other things and not just characters from other IP are good times.

Parody games are good when the author understands the source material. Mity is an example I would use, their knowledge of avatar allows them great writing that's genuinely engaging while also have sexy times

Games that use pre existing IPs are in its majority just bad fanfics.
