It's just for me to be "into someone" would include the personality. And for example Beth, who is often named here, is a pretty awful person, she is an exorbitant narcissist.

I mean based on the 2 examples I gave, you could say both situations are correct. I'm more attracted to Jessie's awful personality and how she makes me feel as opposed to her looks. Whereas dimitrescu terrifies me for all different reasons lmao.
