Been building this as part of a bigger AI world project and figured this was probably the right section for it.

Beast Keeper is basically a monster-girl management / gladiator game. You hunt or buy girls, build a roster, train and manage them, then throw them into arena fights against other players.

The bit I'm more interested in is that they aren't just unit cards with a few stats. The same characters have persistent AI conversations, memory and relationships, so what you say and how you treat them carries forward instead of resetting after every chat.

It's web/online and has PvP, so I'm posting it here rather than trying to squeeze it into the normal Games section.

It's part of Virtual Twilight, which is the larger world/system behind it. There is also normal character chat/roleplay and it can go 18+ / steamy, but Beast Keeper is the game side of it.

Beast Keeper:

I'm still figuring out how much the relationship/personality side should affect the actual management and arena systems. Too much and it gets random; too little and the AI becomes decoration.

If anyone here is into management games / monster girls / AI characters, I'm curious where you'd draw that line.

All characters/content are 18+.

Small design question from the current build:

I'm trying to decide how much the relationship/personality layer should affect the actual arena side.

If a Beast hates you, is frightened of you, trusts you, is jealous of another roster member etc., that *should* matter somehow — otherwise the memory system is just decoration. But if it changes combat too aggressively it starts feeling random instead of strategic.

Right now I'm leaning toward personality/relationship affecting tendencies and risk rather than raw 'you were nice to her so +20% damage' stat bonuses.

For people who play management/monster games: where would you draw that line?

Actual holding-cell gameplay from Beast Keeper, rather than another generic AI-waifu pitch: here's Succubus-015 in the Warded Holding Cells. She's wary, match readiness is sitting at 46%, the interface shows her escape risk, and the next move is yours: hand-feed, coax, comfort, interrogate, punish, or use. There's also a Discipline meter and separate actions for group chat / choosing a warden. The point is that you're managing a roster of monster girls with changing character states and arena readiness, not merely clicking through a static gallery.

The question we're trying to nail down as devs is how far those interactions should feed into personality and actual roster/arena consequences. If you're into monster-girl management games, which part would make you keep playing: collecting and developing a roster, the relationship/discipline mechanics, or the arena risk/reward loop?

I'm one of the devs. Beast Keeper is part of Virtual Twilight: . All characters are adults.
