I prefer 3d because there are better stories and plots than with the comics, but it's a matter of taste of each one.

from my experience, comics usually have better art, better stories, and just generally are higher quality. Many games I see are half-baked and look really strange.

comix for shure not many games out there has good stories but 9/10 times the comix do they just catch you in a hole defrent way if you ask me but i have come a cross a few games that are well worth it but even then comix is more my taste

prefer the games since you get to help "choose" the path of the story... kind of like those really old choose your own adventure books where when something happened it gave you options and each one told you to go to a different page to go on so the story could change every time you re-read the book.

I don't have many preferences, but handmade 2D will always have that extra something that makes it special.

i prefer games for the story! some animations help too lol

AVNs allow for the stories to be told more in-depth. However very few devs take advantage of that or are bad at it. On top of that there is no guarantee when or if the game will be completed. Recently I founds lots of great doujinshi with story arcs and I had a blast reading them (pun intended).

Comics (as well as Kinetic Novels) just don't exist for me, I think it's pointless to waste time on them when you have all the treasures of world literature in front of you.

So my answer is games. Yes, they are often stupid in terms of plot, but they allow for 30-40 minutes to get rid of the psychological tension accumulated at work.
