What are your opinions on the AI games?

most suck but it's the future and is able to do some stupid good art, also great for degenerates with no real artistic skill but good eye for quality

The worst part is that the devs using it don't put in the effort to make the gameplay fun.

I don't like it, I think they all have the same faces, all the VNs look the same.

Been seeing a lot of AI games popping up for a while now, never really got into playing any, are they good or should i stay away from them?
I can't really like them, i tried my secret vacation 2 or the black guards of odon but it feels emotions less

They look very samey to say the least , wouldnt play any ai game at least for now

I have only tried a few but I'm still on the fence about them
because on one hand the can be very cheap and lazy to create making very forgettable games and on the other hand it can bring to light new game developers that would otherwise never made that jump and left it at "Maybe one day I'll start making that..."

Most I've seen so far are definitely lazy, devs that use ai tend to release crappy shovelware games without any substance

I hardly ever touch AI-based games because AI art is usually inconsistent.

i really dont like the way ai art looks. it just has that weird glossy feel to it and you can always tell its ai and i dont like it at all. can be fine if done well tho

Not a fan of AI, it tends to kill creativity and makes Devs lazy.

The problem with the AI games is there's no effort put in most of the time. The few I have played that were well written with AI help with images or some text were ok, I expect they will get better over time.

I play AVN's based on the story and quality of the art. AI art does not interest me.

Cannot stand them. Anatomy is wrong most the time. Broken backs or twisted hips. And hands dude! The crazy looking hands!!

I don't like it when ALL the game is AI but for scenarios, enviroment and off-character or even items can be decent and save some time maybe.

I think I've downloaded like 3 of them, all equal trash. Completely unoriginal from top to bottom. It's a shame, too, because you'd think with AI we'd see an elevated quality for devs who aren't as talented with renders. If I see the AI tag I pretty much skip.

AI is a tool. Like a hammer. The problem is that most of the people using AI are morons who just hit themselves in the head with it and post the results.

I'm interested in what happens when artists start to use AI in a real and effective way. AI is a new paintbrush. Right now we have toddlers making refrigerator work. I'm just waiting for a Picasso to show up.

I've seen several decent games with AI. I consider them exceptions. That said, I nevertheless have high expectations for technology to become better and more consistent - as well as developers to get a hang of it.

I believe that currently AI can be a beneficial tool for a medium/good creator to both decrease production time and to help with content, although it's more believable that the sub-par creators will use it to reach the medium scale :)

I think I'm generally positive of the AI trend when it comes to automatization, but not in the aspect of pure creation.

Avoid it like the plague. I don't mind it if it's used for game assets that aren't character art like backgrounds.

But if it's used to make most of the game's art then I skip it. Dislike it mostly it's just using existing art from others and mashing them together, not to mention the inconsistency between the generated artworks.
