Honestly i tried a few out and they seem pretty ass, so i'd give it some time until AI is good enough that the human using it doesn't have to be

Not really a fan of ai.
It all looks the same and has no dynamics to it. Just a bunch of pinups
I also don't like the idea of people making money off of ai generated work when it's sampled from legitimate artists.
If it's someone who's using ai trained on their own artwork, then I feel that's more into the moral grayzone.

All the ones I've seen use AI-generated images, and they're totally horrible. It's just a lazy way to create a game, with sloppy art and a weak story made by GPT chat.

Ai on art always kill it for me. Its great in other aspects of life, but in art it just seems soulless

After playing a few my final opinion is mixed.

I'm fine with 2d cartoon A.I but when you switch to 3D most have that unrealistic A.I look.

The AI games that are currently popping up are just the lowest effort games ever made. That said, as AI technology continues to develop, more and more developers will be able to take advantage of AI to increase the quality of games and provide faster updates for their games.

I would hope that as it is refined, it would give writers some visuals to complement their writing.

I imagine that some devs out there have amazing writing and story telling ability without the artistic talent to fully envision themselves.

But everything that I've seen thus far has been of poor quality, or just loose experimentation.

I started out hating them and blocking AI games from showing up in my latest feed but coming here and seeing all the good AI art (before the fire nation attacked) changed my mind on that. If you search latest updates for AI games and see what threads have most views, comments and ratings you can easily find out which are the best ones and which are hand drawn games where the creators got lazy and put their own artwork into a model to continue without having to hand draw stuff.

There was a time about 10 months ago where AI games took off and there were like 8 new AI games a week and 90% of them never reached a second release (they almost always start as version 0.2 as well it really bugs me). there's one or two AI games that are essentially remakes of other games that were either abandoned or are stringing along their audience. Any AI game that is nearing completion at this point I believe is pretty good and has a devoloper I'd follow in the future.

EDIT: the game I was specifically thinking of in that previous paragraph is Bryn's Adventure, If you like exhibition try that and see how you feel about AI

I tried some. You'd think since they use AI, there'd be a ton of CGs, but I don't think the ones I played had any more CGs than most other games. Maybe even less than most actually

has potential, specially for peeps that has specific types in girls, if you can create/generate a woman in your prefered image i think it could work otherwise the current market is pretty meh imo

Ai in games is interesting tools. but I not are saw any good games made from it. In future I can belive its can made endless ammount great quality games. Right now we not have eny and Ai is still very limited

there's glimpses of good AI art ones, but nothing really better than even a quick DAZ game.

Conversational AI, rather than AI art, is a dream of mine. It should be possible with current GPU (RTX chat) or CPU technology (AI ready CPUS)
