What are your opinions on the AI games?

I don't like them, individual AI pictures can be hot on their own, but I don't think they hold up in a whole game

I am afraid of Ai in any form so i try not to encourage it

I will say, it does potentially allow people who have skills in story writing and programming but not in rendering to develop games.

I think AI can be used to enhance and speed up production, but it isn't yet capable of producing quality works.

slops, maybe in a couple of years it would be great however, it is AI, soulless yet inevitable

AI games a.t.m. can not compete with HQ productions built by "conventional" ways.
But I think 5 to 10 years ahead ... they will be top tier.

As everything related to AI image generation, utter garbage

i tried a few of those games, and sorry but so far they are all utter garbage, it just misses alot, and 99.9% have literately a story without any dept

the availability of AI generation opened the way to game creation for many people who lacked the perseverance or time to master DAZ3d or another editor. on the one hand, this is good, because some really talented people were able to make their own games. On the other hand, a lot of really bad games have appeared,
which only take up space on servers

It's still a bit too early for the images to be consistent throughout the game, and animations are crazy hard to do. Some games are really promising though. I really like the characters in Dreamer Life.

AI is going to make all of these games better, maybe it'll take a while to work out the problems but I'm excited to see what comes

Randomly churning out low-effort slop that has to be refined is the only use for every "AI" made yet, but simple games like VNs or casual puzzles are the perfect place for it. But again, someone has to actually edit and perfect whatever it makes for it to be any good, which defeats the whole supposed purpose of this "AI" push in the first place
I honestly believe that every "AI" made so far is never going to be better than the algorithms we already had before. Look at Google Search for a perfect example. It feels like just a trap for garbage CEO-types to try to make a bunch of money off of destroying things that were already perfectly fine.

Been seeing a lot of AI games popping up for a while now, never really got into playing any, are they good or should i stay away from them?
At first I hated them since they were mostly shovelware pumped out as fast as possible as a cash grab but in the past 3 months they have MASSIVLY improved to the point where they are often better than most 3d models imo. I think in 2 years it's going to be the primary way of creating assets for these kind of games. I'd like to see a newer better 3d model than DAZ, HS, or whatever else they use these days but I think there hasn't been any advances other than AI in nearly a decade.

Almost all the games I've seen with AI are terrible

I think is the future, but still never seen a good one so far
