Dislike it and ignore them. It rather ruins the illusion of a fictional game and setting since most of those images are from Porno galleries or videos that I've seen before. Same goes for borrowed art on games or VNs.

The borrowed art bugs me less especially when they're often only using some shared assets and not ripped scenes unless its a remake/mod and they're usually upfront about those and the original usually has issues that they're fixing some how

Personally, I'm not a fan of them, like at all. I think it's more than kind of lazy. I look at it like this, let's say I take your favorite movie, and then dub it over with complete gibberish. Did I create something, really? Sure, I guess? In the laziest fucking way possible. Yeah, you'd have to do some coding and whatever, but it's the not same. I'd rather play a game with the crappiest renders you've ever seen. Because at least the dev, they're trying, and could get better at rendering their models and whatever, with some time. How do you make real porn any better? What do you even do with it? Waste of time, and effort in my opinion. That time could be spent learning to use Daz3D or HS2 or something instead of pilfering clips or stills of real porn and making it into a "game".

I'd really like to read some opinions on this. Maybe somebody makes an argument and I see that I'm way off base here. I'm not trying to shit on any of you that like those games that use real porn. I say good for you. And I don't mean that in a sarcastic way. You do you, play the games you like.

i agree with most of this, but there are some games that actually employ actors and acresses to do the game, there is one that i dont remember the game, but the made all the scenarios using their own clips and such

I think you're thinking of life collector which is a real porn studio's 'game' I don't think there are any real games with real porn outside of that

haven't had expirience with a lot of "real porn" games the ones i've tried were with porn that either was made before the game and you "chose you own adventur" (limited) or they miss matched some scenes together with different actresses, with same hair maybe, to make some "plot".

I can imagine it could be a way to make a "unique" game. but so far the VAs/ actresses in these kind of games like to keep being anonymous and not have their " faces" associated to this space i think. so it could be hard to make these. still importand that the talent gets paid either way.

I've only played a couple of games that had real porn and I never really enjoyed them.

Not my thing, as they usually devolve into multiple choice questions where a wrong answer sends you back to the start.
Plus, I dislike regular porn because they usually have the male lead making noise, which kills my boner.

This is my view too - in addition for me it (and this feels strange to say) breaks my immersion in the game. I think it is because they become too realistic for things to match what plays in my head.

Almost every real porn game I've seen was poorly made and didn't really make sense.

Incubus City was the lone exception to that and was very good. I played that game dozens of times and only stopped because I ran out of new paths to try.

Personally, it's not a hard no, it'll come down more to how well it's done. I enjoyed games like Incubus City, Inner Bimbo, and Mayor of Mount Pleasant. I just end up holding RL games to a bit of a higher minimum standard I think.
Random games using default daz3d/honey select models are just as off-putting as seeing the same RL model galleries.

But that said, I find the ones that just throw in gifs of RL actors can be muuuuch lower effort than someone who rendered their images (even if they're using bad default models). I tend to avoid both of those though.

If its done well I have no issues with it. It seems games with AI art are progressing rapidly and will soon be indiscernible from non-AI art.

Not to me, borrowed art can be inconsistent and sometimes ruin the immersion, depending on how the art piece is applied.
