There was a time were i liked real porn in games but that was like 25 years ago when i was a teen, now i don´t like it at all since the stories are basically an AV with extra steps.

personally even in the VHS days I would fast forward through the poor acting. thankfully a lot of sites only do clips and don't even bother with plot.

I really don't care for it at all. It severely limits whats possible for the story. Lets say the maker of the game wants an anal scene but the actress have never made an anal scene, what then? Sub her out for someone else? No thank you.

I personally hate it. Can't put it into words how idiotic I think it is to "ruin" a porn movie just to cut it up and place it behind walls of text. Then again all games I've seen who used this were low in quality anyway. Maybe if someone did OC "real porn" mixed with their own game that it could work (somehow).

Personally, I'm not a fan of them, like at all. I think it's more than kind of lazy. I look at it like this, let's say I take your favorite movie, and then dub it over with complete gibberish. Did I create something, really? Sure, I guess? In the laziest fucking way possible. Yeah, you'd have to do some coding and whatever, but it's the not same. I'd rather play a game with the crappiest renders you've ever seen. Because at least the dev, they're trying, and could get better at rendering their models and whatever, with some time. How do you make real porn any better? What do you even do with it? Waste of time, and effort in my opinion. That time could be spent learning to use Daz3D or HS2 or something instead of pilfering clips or stills of real porn and making it into a "game".

I'd really like to read some opinions on this. Maybe somebody makes an argument and I see that I'm way off base here. I'm not trying to shit on any of you that like those games that use real porn. I say good for you. And I don't mean that in a sarcastic way. You do you, play the games you like.

to be honest, I completely agree with you that they are lazy, but some of them can tell the story well, of course, this is something that varies from person to person, I often prefer games using Daz3d characters, using real porn images and videos sounds really lazy, but there will certainly be someone whose story attracts you, as a smart old man said: Never say never, have a good and happy days my friend

Most of them are garbage with a few exceptions. The real porn restricted them too heavily so they don't innovate.

Real porn generally a pass for me. tried a few but they are just bad. id prefer bad but consistent ai art over real porn in vn if a person wants to make a game but cant draw/render images themselves

To be honest not to keen on games with real porn just seems like a lazy way for someone to create a game as they arent having to create characters or scenes for it .

I dont mind them, or at least in theory I don't mind them. Real porn isn't generally known for its story telling so if someone can take that porn and actually set it to a decent story it can be worthwhile. However, a real porn game with a decent story is a bit of a unicorn.

It can work. But generally it seems to constrain the story in weird ways, since the dev is limited to images and video that already exist.
If anything it just seems old and outdated at this point.

Dislike it and ignore them. It rather ruins the illusion of a fictional game and setting since most of those images are from Porno galleries or videos that I've seen before. Same goes for borrowed art on games or VNs.
