discussion What are your opinions on games made with real porn?

I can't remember the name but one "family" game used the same stars for every scene and it was pretty great. I find that when the actors are changed i stop following

I am not a fan of it because you are so limited what you can describe and show. So way to often it happens that picture doesn't really fit to the text. Or the home of MC looks different every time and so on.

Unless it has a story that can compel you from the beginning, and manages to use consistent images (so don't have the girl be a blond on day 1 and be a brunette in the next scene) i tend to just pass them over.

I think i've only ever played 2 that managed to do that. most others just never get downloaded or get deleted after 5/.10 minutes.

The very most negative. It is a sign that the developer does not know how to create digital models. Besides, it's infuriating when a developer has the nerve to hide someone else's content, which the developer has nothing to do with creating (photos or videos often even show logos of different companies) behind a paywall. Besides, photos and fideos are highly overcompressed and viewing them causes nothing but irritation. After a few trials, I put the tag real porn on my blacklist.

i played Tower and liked it a lot. Very well made game with built up on Scenes. What i actually play atm is "a Wifes Phone". Corruption game on Wife and other girls over a Phone Hypno app. Its worth a try

nah. not for me at all. i play these types of games to escape reality. why would i want to look at a (likely illegally used) image of a real woman and have to suspend disbelief regarding all the things that led to that image being in the game? additionally, she's very clearly not a part of the game's universe. its way easier to just suspend disbelief flatly and become immersed in a game that exclusively uses cgi.

ie "this is a fictional character existing in a fictional universe" vs "this is a real person that is meant to represent a fictional character in a fictional universe."

I draw very, very badly, and visuals are the hardest part for me, so personally, to practice coding, I use real porn quite a bit. Is it the best solution? Nope. But is it better than using AI and trashing the work of all the artists whose work I appreciate? Yeah, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it.

I'm sure some real porn games are fine and dandy but I would rather have someone make something with goofy to bad art than have real porn.
It's always the same models and shit, like there is not personal touch to it and frankly its dull. AI would be better honestly, even with all its shortcomings.

Simple, if I wanted to see real porn I would go and see real porn. However, it does take work to match the story with the img/gifs for it to be immersive. Most don't succeed in doing so...

i dont watch real people porn anymore. all the girls are way too ugly for my taste. plus i have a hot as fuck sex doll so my tolerance for ugly women fake moaning as a guy with a floppy dick fucks her kind of just grosses me out now tbh. and if they are older than 19 they just aren't fresh enough anymore.

Not a fan. Animated scenes fit well with the rest of a game, cause there's not much difference in the rendering.
Real porn scenes take me out of a game, if the rest of the game isn't real people. However, that being told I haven't given a chance to many games that use real life porn.
I've played some text based choice pickers that use only real life footage, but those weren't that immersive or engaging.

They might as well not exist because I have never ever tried one and there is an absolute 0% chance I ever will. This may be controversial but I kind of feel they shouldn't even be "allowed" because all they do is clog up the board with games that basically no one plays.
