I'm not really against it, but it feels like a forced combination of media. And they are frequently disjointed (taking multiple different videos/actors in the same story) which takes me out of it.

Never played a game like this and never probably will. It's the endless possibility that comes with animated games that really hooks you in. You can become anyone and anywhere, so why play a game with RL setup and people when there's just so much more possible fun scenarios

If your skills are in web development, it's probably a quick way to storyboard/prototype a new game, make sure the flow works, understand what renders you need, etc, before you get into the bit that takes the time or you need to learn

Yeah, I agree. If you wanna watch real porn better to watch a video than play game where you have to spend 1 hour to watch shorts

Apart from the fact that all of these I played were super boring, the point of a porn game is to create its own world and not copy images from any videos.

The cutscenes are inherently disconnected from the plot of the game. It's the same as games that use pre-existing image sets (some old rpg style games you could upload a bunch of your own pictures for characters).

I don't think I'm conceptually against them, it's just there hasn't been any that are actually any good.

Games are usually better when the illustrations are made for the story rather than trying to make a story for existing video.

I hate them. They seem like they are lazy and underdeveloped. Also the very act of making them just requires them to steal.
The only good case for them is if they are a way for an inexperienced developer to learn how to make a game.

I've tend to avoid them. Only played one or two and didn't really like them. Maybe a good one out there, but haven't been interested in finding out.

I find it interesting because it ends up coming out of that simple way of going to the internet and looking for the video I want to see without even a shred of history or logic as to why that act is being carried out. Now depending on the game creator, we may even ‘like’ the idea of what we are seeing. I hope I expressed myself well.

The main issue I find with real porn is that the creator of the games typically have to morph their game to match the porn instead of how it is usually done with the art being made to match the story in the game. But if done right I don't mind it as much, if I give the game a try in the first place that is.

It's a bit difficult to get immersed, I feel. Maybe like I'm playing someone else's story rather than my own, if that makes sense.
