Not my thing. It usually is just a random set of pictures of random people which have nothing to do with events of the game. Even AI is more consistent than that.

I usually just ignore them completely (if I wanted real porn, I would be searching for exactly what I want, not some random pictures/videos thrown into a random mix). I'd prefer even just text described scenes/games over those.

Yup, they feel lazy. I could have pulled up regular porn if I wanted that would have been a better experience. Maybe I just haven't played a good one. Plus it's immersion breaking or something to recognize the actress.

Might be fun for the first few times, but after you play a few you realize how many of them are too lazy to even get the clips themselves and just use the same characters for the same tropes so they can reuse the pictures that have already been saved from other games (Ava Adams mom, Riley Reid or Elsa Jean sister etc.). And after you play more AVNs in general then you realize there is probably much more interesting stuff out there anyway.

At least that was my experience with these games, nowadays I almost never play them.

Not a fan. It doesn't make a game an outright "No", but it needs to fit with the story/scenario in the game and be consistent with the pictures (it's immersion breaking to see the woman the MC is fucking be a redhead in one image, then suddenly she's a completely different person in the next).

I'd imagine that fitting with the story is the biggest barrier in most of these cases, as you'd need either a photoshoot that follows the story you want to tell, or you have to write to the images you have. In the case of some of the theme/content of some of the games here (particularly M+), having anything to do with that photo set means prison time in basically any jurisdiction except maybe the high seas.

That being said, if I'm playing a 3dcg or drawn game, I don't object to a bit of real porn on a poster for example, or in an "MC watches some porn on his PC" context.

Most porn scenes are boring and far from reality.
I think the tag 'unreal porn' would be more appropriate.

At first, I have nothing against them, but these games always seem to be made in a lazy way, usually in HTML, with poor image quality, bugs, and a lot of grinding. This makes me view them with distrust, and I end up avoiding playing them.
