discussion What are your opinions on games made with real porn?

Not a fan. Real people, mainly the ones who do porn, disgust me. I prefer to keep my degenerate fantasies in a fictional setting and a drawing or 3d model helps greatly to disassociate it from reality.

I've tried a bunch over the years hoping they would be good, but the generally are not. It doesn't help that nearly all of them are HTML based browser games instead of Ren'Py, Unity, or RPGM games.

I generally find mainstream porn pretty boring and bad in the first place. Why on earth would I want to experience it being abused and mis-used out of some "dev's" laziness and lack of artistic ability? I have far too many mediocre porn games on my playlist to waste my time on the absolutely shit ones.

I've never really made sense of it visually speaking, surely there will be one that tells a good story.

If people continue working on them it is because they will have their audience like everything in this life.

I think it is ok, but i really wonder if the people in the images approved of that, i personally would prefer IA generated for good measure to avoid legal risks and to make the scenes more specific, since when they use those real life images they are kind of all over the place, the characters aren't the same and some times the situation seems weird in the scene not really fitting for what the text says it is happening, so i give an overall 5/10 to all of them

I don't like those games. For me the aesthetic of real porn dosen't go well with say a Ren'py format.
I'd rather watch it then "play" it

i think it´s a lot of work to cobble the right real porn scenes to the writing in your NSFWgame. if you can actually do it: wow, gratz, it can really enhance the experienced. but this cases are view and far between. in 9/10 cases it is thrash and just a sign of laziness

So.... a few thoughts here.

First, one of the things I like about rendered/drawn games in the first place is the low/no guilt. There's no actual people involved here. Any time you're dealing with pictures of real people, you never can be completely sure who might have been exploited in some way to produce that image, who might later come to regret it, etc. So for that reason, I'm not the greatest fan of the real porn group.

The other things I don't like much about it is... it's really limiting to the game. You have to deal with the images you can get. The creator generally doesn't have freedom of choice for their scenes the same way they would with rendered/drawn images. And that almost always results in a loss of quality in the end game.

Finally, idk, just not as attractive in this format IMO. Like, real people are more attractive than images, but drawn porn images are more attractive than real porn images, if that makes any sense.

I'll occasionally put up with it, if I think the rest of the game is good, but it's definitely not my preference.

I can never get into them. I saw one where they shot it specifically for the game but it was abandoned. That I could deal with. Otherwise, its just shoehorned in -usually poorly- and does nothing for me. If I want to see pornstars, I'll go elsewhere.
