I wasn't always this way. Not sure when I changed, but I HATE replayability. I want to spend lots of hours on a game, only doing new content and be DONE.
Some reviewer stated how they hated Bethesda's :
"You can be leader of the mages, fighters, thieves, assassins, etc... guild at once. NO. You open a door, the other closes. THAT is gaming. Replay it again for the new content."
Nope! Not replaying.
I'm autistic and yet I STILL have a limit of how many times I do things. How do normies like repetition?
Example of what I hate: Star Wars The Old Republic. Numbers out of my ass.
8 Classes which all together gives you 10% of the content (i.e. 1.25% per class).
2 Sides which all together gives you 40% of the content (i.e. 20% per side)
Common content which gives you 50% of the content. (nothing to write here)
So your first pass = 1 new Class, 1 new Side, 1 new Common = Everything is new.
Second pass = 1 new Class, 1 new Side, 1 seen Common = About half is new.
Third pass = 1 new Class, 1 seen Side, 1 Seen Common = A fraction is new. Gotta do this 6 TIMES to see all.
BUT WAIT. There's also Light Side, neutral and Dark Side options on SOME missions which gives us SOME new content.
So, to be a completionist, I gotta do this 24 times, with diminishing rewards? As I said Nope!
BUT, if I say that I hate replayability about AVNs and EVEN IF IT HAS THE KINETIC TAG right there, then people go "Dude. That's stupid. Just watch porn."
IT SAYS KINETIC. It's... in... the... tags...
Now, I just avoid "psychic repetitive" gaming in mainstream and AVNs by having a handy walkthrough or a Mod so that I do my ONE pass and I'm done.
