Well, I was hoping to try this on android with Joiplay, but for some reason both this game and their other title lose their .exe files when extracted.

I can't say I've ever experienced that before. Tried it with another game that extracted properly before and it still works so I dont think it's an android update issue (was afraid they preemptively started their 3rd party install restrictions by blocking .exe files to fuck with emulators).

Still, that sucks. I may try to extract/copy the files with X-plore, but that'll take hours.

Definitely a matter of taste. Anime style art scratches a different "itch" than 3DCG for me, I like both but for different reasons.

I'm always wary of AI translated games though, even LLMs tend to have some weird translation issues. But at least it's just the AI translating something human made rather than writing itself.
