Most of David Lynch's movies. What makes them strange and unusual? The director's talent and his affinity for surrealism. And of course, Angelo Badalamenti's ethereal music from his movies.
My favorites:
Blue Velvet.
Twin Peaks (the first two classic seasons, Fire Walk With Me (non-rental, 4-hour version), Twin Peaks: The Return);
Mulholland Drive
Lost Highway

Well I cant say much about the plot to not spoil it, but it is about a surgeon which had developed a new type of skin. At the very start of the movie, you met a beautiful women, whom he applied the knowledge he had. For the first minutes, everything about their relationship seems very strange, but, bit by bit, the origin of all off that is being unfolded.

The Antichrist. Super low budget movie about a couple in the woods while the birth of the antichrist causes the world to go insane. The whole thing is just a series of random bad events with no real story of progression. Also the dude gets hit in the dick while masturbating and winds up cumming blood. That was the point I just turned off the movie, so if there's something after that to give this thing some coherence I haven't seen it.

Just a bunch of scenes that are weirdly entrancing and make no real sense at all, the coherence of the movie seems to lie just outside your grasp.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona. It was a decent enough movie, but they cast a full adult as an 18 year old (or something, it was a wile ago) and everybody kept saying how young she was the whole time. Totally took me out of it.

Another funny one was part of Kentucky Fried Movie (late 1970s) titled "A Fistful of Yen." Same movie opened up with a news anchor saying "The popcorn you are eating has been pissed in." Note this was is theaters and before many people had VCRs, and DVDs, etc were not yet invented.

Ghosts of Mars. The movie had some of the weirdest and most pointless dialog I've ever enjoyed. And the story isn't any better
Does anyone know Velocipastor and can recommend it? Sounds interesting from the title. Oh, and there was this weird horror movie with a car that was a vampire and sucked blood through the pedals...

Weirdest movie I've seen is also the worst. Southland Tales. Weird part is how it could be so awful with such a great cast.
