First of all, we highly recommend that you start a new game. Old saves will still work, but we’ve added several animations to earlier parts (4 new animations), improved sound effects, added new music, changed some images, fixed existing bugs, updated the interface in the virtual world, and made many other improvements.
We’ve added a character stats system, along with talents that will affect certain in-game moments. For example, some situations can now be resolved through persuasion or seduction instead of fighting.

Hahahaha, the eternal question always asked. Does it matter? From the description it seems at least somewhat avoidable.

Where I am now I just hope you can do more with the sister cause at this point i couldnt care less about valerie (the gf). Not only does the sister look better,
but she actually seems to be showing more interest in the MC than the gf herself. Hell even Amanda and his boss seem to be showing more interest in the mc than the gf herself. When it comes
to NTR my stance is that if she's willing to, or compelled to have sex with someone else then fuck her (no not like that) cause clearly that means whatever love that was thought to be there
doesn't exist at all. Even if the ntr is avoidable i'd still rather go after someone else because even if she's "not doing it on purpose" if you are playing an mmo with another guy so often that you'd feel the need to lie about just reaching lvl20 when you were actually lvl27 (you can check her stats with friends list) to the point where you'd still play with them, and even though you knew your boyfriend was on and you could just go play with him, and on top of that go get ice cream with the guy at the park you knew you were meeting your bf at, ntr or not you are already an L girlfriend. At this point im just playing to get the orb and expose the bitch so i can move on to the sister, cause her not having
a sword or armor but still saying "i already had a 'weapon' to deal with the bandits" already told me everything i needed to know about her.

MMO's and RPG's dont make or turn you into anything. They just show the you you're incapable of showing irl.

Is the NTR avoidable?

According to the dev, this is avoidable, but the game is strange; however, the only peaceful thing is the protagonist's sister, who is completely devoted to him and shows no sign of doing anything wrong.
