This is a good game, but the updates take soooooo long I think the last one was sometime October/November 2024
Is it even still a live project?

I love this game too, and I share your frustration about the slow updates that don't necessarily advance the plot a lot, or not in the directions where I would like to see it continue.
But development definitely continues. There are regular updates on Patreon, with progress details and preview pictures. The game has become quite complex with lots of plot threads, and I think there are some choices with long-term consequences, too, complicating development. (In other words: The developer may have written themselves in a corner, at least to some extent. But that's part of why I love this game so much.)

It takes a long time to release updates, but the truth is it's worth it, it's good quality, the only bad thing really is that it's scary that any day the dev will abandon it and you won't even notice XD

Yeah, been waiting for like 2yrs to finally see MC bang Kayame. Bringing her into the harem is a holy grail at this point.

fans who love the game should quit, either game will die like it was suppose to or dev will stop milking and get to work. every update he gives can be done in 1-2 months at most. any more than that is the dev just playing around.

This was a slow start but, whe i got into this game it gotrealy intresting. When the full game and all the pats are playebal i wil defently try it again.

Yeah the time between updates is long as hell, but IMO the new content doesn't feel small. But maybe it's just the feeling because it tends to focus on specific topic end-to-end (beach episode, or for v.13.5 content with mother).

Like the description says, there are a lot of characters but some of them feel kinda like clones. With so much content it’s barely avoidable sure but it’s a small defect

Wow! It turns out that VN is still alive. In late summer and early autumn of 2019, even before COVID, I tried to play it (as far as it was possible then). What can I say? This was my first and hopefully last contact with something based on Honey Select. A soap opera with pseudo-Japanese specifics.

This VN has been around since early 2018 and the updates seem to get further and further apart, while the plot development per update goes from tediously slow to virtually non-existent . Is this a case of the dev milking this for all it's worth before abandoning it completely?

I admit that I am still interested in how the story develops, especially the proposed martial arts fight/contest between Maki and Jira. I just hope the dev sticks with it and actually finishes the story....only time will tell.

As a matter of interest, the current version is 0.13.5 (not 0.13.0 as listed on this site) and was released in late November last year.
