Music in video games really is one of the most important factors to if I like the game or not. For example starting Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and instantly knowing its gonna be one of the best experiences in gaming just because of the menu music is something indescribable

And One of the biggest positives to game music is the music fits almost everything you are going in the game whether peacefully farming or battling the final boss the music with work with it.

Favorite soundtrack is probably Red Alert 2, but Dragon's Dogma's original menu song was great.

"The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" had a great soundtrack. I discovered a group that recorded a lot of Zelda game music with real instruments It made me appreciate it on another level. Lots of great music in that series of games.

the Ace Combat franchise has some insane bangers, Final Fantasy games never dissapoint OST wise as well.

I will never not recommend any Legend Of Heroes: Trails- Soundtrack. A series in which literally every game has an (at worst) fantastic soundtrack.
