When I first played this demo, I was very impressed. I have been looking forward to the next update. Alas, it has been a while and I can't help but worry that maybe this game is abandoned. I really hope not. I see so much potential! But, I'm a patient man so I'll just keep waiting and hope to hear something soon. You never really know what's going on in dev's real life so I like to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Just played it, good start, hoped it was a little longer. like the character Renders and the story is starting of good. lets hope their be a update coming real soon. Can't wait to continue the Viking Chronicles. best of luck with your game.

Yeah it is getting close to one year since the first release and there are still no news about this one.

After the changes Dev made for "Sara", i doubt Nighaku will keep working on this one.

Asked about this on SS in the Sara update thread and it was simply deleted (now seriously considering unsubbing to that one as well). Apparently he's now one of those devs that wants you to sub to him twice and pay extra if you want to know anything about their other AVNs, as this one is under the Nightaku account with the other Sara Game. Going to guess if that goal bar isn't filled it's going to get abandoned, so on-hold is just a pit stop. It just has that vibe.

Genuine question. What is the threshold for a game to be considered abandoned? As far as we know it has been over a year since any update.
It looked promising, hope it gets an update one day.

It should be 6 months without an update (version or news from the dev), unless it's changed and the guide hasn't been updated (you can find it here, under the PREFIXES section).

why do we allow 6 months?

I honestly believe that every dev that earns more money than working at a fast food store, that asshole can release an update every single month. 3 months for big updates I can also understand, but it doesn't happen and it's annoying because people who aren't very smart keep paying those assholes so they never feel the need to keep working on the game. if this community stopped paying money to any dev for not updating every 3 months, and a real update that actually made sense that it needed 3 months to be released, than we wouldn't have this dumb problem/scams.

It's actually worse at 12-18 months for most AVN sites (12 months no communication, 18 for no update). And some Patreon devs haven't released shit or even log on to say anythign anywhere for a game marked abandoned 2-3 years ago but still get $50-100/mo in sub money in some cases. Fools and their money... I still say I wasted 4 years of my life on college.

Most of the Devs don't earn that much to make it the only job. They have to go to work as well as do all sorts of routines.
I prefer slow development of many games to total abandonment of them with just few remaining.
