I have already raised this question, but I have not received a clear answer to it. What's the point? Many (if not most) of the games presented here are not current versions. I inform the admins about the availability of new versions almost every day. At the same time, I give links in messages to admins to a certain site X. Is it possible to consider such actions as advertising of the same site X or not, although these messages are not visible to other users? And the situation with updating game versions here is simply catastrophic, in a number of (not uncommon) cases, three updates were missed.
And what should I do, prepare for the ban? I am involuntarily forced to download the games I am interested in from other sites (let's call them X and Y), new versions appear there more quickly.

as mime said + i don't think staff/mods/admin see the blocked name of sites / words.
i think they see its original form.
it would be pretty shitty to ban someone for sending a URL to an uploader in a private message for them to get that file here for everyone.
I've never waited days for my reported new game updates to be addressed, sometimes I add DL links in the main thread & report it & sometimes i just say "here is the game link" go get the files yourself.
it all depends on my schedule, game updates are something that gets put out there pretty fast. (pending on how busy things are and who's online)
Always a big fan of transparency in moderation, people getting nuked without any kind of notice or explanation to them, or to the community, is one of the worst things management can do, and evidently Lunna was enough of a figure and a nuisance to warrant not just a moderation log entry, but a proper explanation as to what the drama here and elsewhere was about
So we are in another round of forum rivalry than? I just noticed that Fallens are censored again. This constant change of policy towards other sites/forums is becoming weird. At first i had to police myself when i wrote about Fallens and C95. Than policy changed and mentioning of other sites was allowed again. Now we are back at square one. LC is my forum of choice, but this is kinda... obsessive much?

A*Fallen is one that shouldn't get promoted anyway. One of negative things about them is that they will defend ped0s, and promote ped0phillia. You have staff and members who are open about being ped0s too, so you can't deny that about A*F. For those of you into lolicon, you need to understand that if you don't want loli content banned or made illegal, then you really ought to not associate with A*Fallen or support them. Lolicon is already hated enough, you don't make need to make things worse by adding much more fuel to it. The ones defending them usually are ped0s too, so I don't waste my time responding to them.
A*Fallen likes to censor people and other sites too, they deserve the same treatment as Cuckzone as well.
Banning OmgWhatIsgone seems a little crazy. With all due respect(not trynna get myself banned here), looking at the quoted message I think he raised a fair point about the deletion of contributed content, and he wasn't arguing in favor of Luna getting unbanned(Neither am I, to be clear) either.
To quote his message, Deleting every single game thread, every upload—everything—just because he feels threatened by some advertising?
I think he did see the advertising in the OP, he just thought the reaction was slightly overblown. Even then I think a warning would have sufficed(For OmgWhatIsgone, to be specific. Again, not arguing in favor of Luna).

I'm seeing people get banned for even talking about other sites, which goes against your "we're only going after people who advertise" If i get banned for this so be it, but as far as i'm aware there was a vote against censoring links and stuff, very weird situation
I saw the image in the OP, and I understand the need for a penalty—I’m not saying that no penalty would be appropriate—but I feel that if you were going to delete posts, it would have been sufficient to remove just the promotional ones, rather than everything...
Is it possible for you to at least restore the content this person uploaded?
You’ve effectively removed everything this individual contributed to your community.
And hey, you didn’t just ban me, you disabled my account.
You must be registered to see attachments
Look, I’m just trying to have a reasonable conversation with you. Is that even possible—can one express a different opinion without immediately getting their account suspended?
and my main account is not longer usable because you have disabled him
but its nice from you that I can tell you my opinion NOW without immediately getting disabled/banned, which are pretty much the same thing

you're arguing the wrong thing. you keep using the promo post to argue about the deleted threads. those are two different reasons. promo post is why i looked at him. the threads were soft deleted and re-owned because i cant trust his posts. if you want to argue a deletion, argue the trust call, not the ad.
can content be restored? partially, maybe. soft deleted isnt nuked, so it's not gone-gone, but the game threads were re-owned on purpose. Kilinger asked the same thing and i said it'll be handled later. his updates are the actual loss, so that's the fair complaint. lead with that and you'll get further than "you deleted everything over one post."
and no, an opinion doesn't get you suspended. an opinion gets you suspended temporarily until i look at it again. both are true.

Or under what name will the important content be listed? It’s only about the important content...
Let’s set aside what Luna did wrong for a moment.
This user uploaded many games for you, provided numerous translations, and gave away a lot of things for free...(and now everything is gone, what is bad)
If you could restore this content—including the posts where the user helped others—regardless of who technically "owns" it, wouldn't that resolve everything? Since I couldn't quite make sense of your previous response, I’m asking you directly: is that possible? If it is, I’ll log off, and we won’t have any further conversation—though I do find it quite telling that, immediately after I tried to share my opinion with you, my account ended up being banned (or rather, disabled)....
I Thank thee, O great overlord of LC, for allowing such freedom of speech on your lands.
However, it seems the critics (that were aimed to be constructive, btw) I made still deserved a ban

I won't thank you for unbanning me, as it should never have happened in the first place.
Don't know if it was about this post or this one, but seeing that reaction of yours, I have to downgrade even further my rating for your actions from "cheap move" to "weak af". And I hope this doesn't make you feel insulted by the "lunna cuck boy" I am : >
Anyway - the obvious problem of removing posted games on an already starving site AND applying dumb censorship on a site which main interest is (sorry.. was) to be against censorship (and poor moderation) have been discussed already
But there is another problem, which I think is actually central: blatant money milking to "help fund the site"
These screens were taken in a span of two weeks - I know dark pattern can be a tempting thing - SBMM, lootboxes, battlepasses and so - in the video game induestry, but this? xDD
Lol even EA wouldn't have dared to pull up a move like this
You put your head in the sand in this thread already, so maybe it is time to adress a proper answer on that matter
Like your signature said not so long ago @Jack Of Blades, "Sites are not run for free", but as I understand, it would be more like "I don't work for free"
And you know what? I agree with both of these statements. I think work deserves recognition and compensation - but I also think using cunning and treacherous methods to raise funds is (apart from the moral side of things) a very wrong calculation.
Where you could establish a stable source of income and funding based on gratitude and recognition (which, I repeat, is well deserved in my point of view), you instead seem more eager to grab the maximum cash, the quickest you can by begging for falacious purposes, multiplying cheap tricks, "limited sales" and so on to get people to donate
I kindly and respectfully asked for more precisions like many others, but your silence said everything
SO to conclude: I (and others) already started spreading the word of another cohabitation thread being made on... anothersiteyoumentionnedinOP, not to harm LC in itself (I have no interest in doing so, and even if I were to, being passive and watching as you destroy everything is the most efficient thing to do), but because sharing auto censored links will be too much of a hassle
C'est quand même hallucinant de voir des gens se tirer une balle dans les deux pieds de la sorte... Je te souhaite le meilleur malgré tout
