True, but game devs would also like to make money in this process, so it works out. The ones gumming up the system are the credit card companies whose only concern should be if the activity being paid for is legal in the jurisdiction where the transaction is taking place. If it isn't illegal, then it should be left to the market to determine whether something is sold, not the credit card companies. This announcement sounds like it is good news, but I will wait to see how it plays out first.

So, I've been editing Tomboy's script all day preparing for the SubscribeStar Apocalypse. It turns out I wasted my day. They implemented some Patreon like rules the other day but by this afternoon they had backtracked on all of it. Massive respect to SS for not bending the knee but my day has kind of been wasted. Oh, well. I guess I can use this new version to be like the Itch or Patreon Version. I mean I did finish it. It is what it is I guess. Anyway...

incorrect, as soon as you pull the contents of the internet link into your computer you are importing it into the country your computer is in.
if you went to another country to use a computer in their country & put your money in a bank in that country it would be fine as long as you weren't transferring that money to your country without cleaning it first.
