Side note: the android version says it's v0.8a, but when I load up my save from the end of chapter 7, it just ends. Did I miss a step, or do something wrong?

I haven't heard of that problem yet. Try loading an auto-save and see if that works.

Just did, and yeah, same thing. End chapter 7, and then that's the end of Tomboy Supremacy v0.7 full update, thanks so much for playing. Strange for sure. Maybe I'll uninstall and reinstall from the 0.8a .apk and see if that works.

Quick edit here just to add that I uninstalled and reinstalled from the 0.8a .apk and same issue. Goes to the end of chapter 7, then back to the main menu. No water park.

I am back to work on the Tomboy Supremacy 0.8 Full Update tomorrow. This two weeks off was much needed so thank y'all for letting me take a good break. I really needed that recharge more than y'all think. Expect the update out in the next 7 days. 25% of the renders are already done and there's not that many animations, so it shouldn't take too long. Anyway, stay tuned...
