In a sane world, that would probably be a good idea. But with the current crazy world where there are laws against A-cup porn stars and innie labia, well, not real laws, but enough censorship rules that there is a defacto ban on those particular attributes, and where game developers can get arrested for pixels, not to mention that all the money places refuse to support any game that hints at underage characters, it isn't a stretch to say that devs need to cater to those making the rules rather than the game players.
In otherwise good news, the game Stellar Blade seems to be bringing back the skimpy outfits in spite of the woke reviewers protesting the game.
