So ive been a Unity Hobbyist dev for some years now and was thinking about making a game for here. I have no plans of making money just might be a fun change of pace.

Although i dont have a specific plan for the game at the moment, i would say fairly realistic looking(my models are not quite as nice as something like current Daz). It will have a Visual Novel feel like Renpy but it will be using a 3D world instead of renders(this would allow to swap out models using ik to make sure things still line up 🤣 even if the model is tall or short.) im hoping this would allow the player to be able to decide the outcome of love interests a bit better without having to render 100s of scenes that wont even be viewed .

I curious if anyone here would be interested in working on a story if i did the game mechanics. Im looking for someone that can write fully dynamic interesting storylines. I have an Asset that would allow for a "Renpy" feel with the dialogue while also being very dynamic about what ever stats need to be adjustable. It uses .txt files so no need to get into the engine if you dont want to. We will start with a chapter 1 and i guess go from there.
With that said i dont want to get too specific about the game as im still considering several options on scene layout and what options the player may have like age sliders, custom character builders, or ..i personally dont care for trany or gay content....but as long as the player has the option to opt out (it never happened) im ok with adding most any content.

Anyway be interested to see what people may think about this..

Good luck as Unity games are usually not as popular then Renpy games. Probably because the lack of certain features.

There have been a few decent adult Unity game though. (y)

I agree i havnt cared for most Unity games ive tried here(also had issues with actually downloading some), but i think the main issue is that these type of games should be less interactive and more AVN (Renpy) like. I for one enjoy the story/journey much more than i want to actually control the characters movement.

I dont have any real plans yet, but i have lots of Daz gen 2 characters with lots of morphs and clothing options. Im currently working on a clothing, hair style & color ,eye color and some body and face morphs for the player / devs/maybe mods to design characters with .(Small example shown in the gif above), Also lots of environments to build a story around. Unfortunately good story concepts /Dialogue is not my strong point. Im open to hear some ideas... But i can say ive liked several games here like, Radiant, and ,Such a sharp pain. Off the top of my head. I also have some ideas to keep the game/VN legal while also allowing most any kink we would like to add. Sorry for the slow response didnt see notifications for this...

That sounds like a really cool idea, especially the 3D world + VN hybrid approach. I think a lot of people would enjoy a system where you can swap models without re-rendering hundreds of scenes. If you can find a good writer, this could turn into something unique.

Small update i am currently in talks with someone that may do the writing for this. We got a concept and now im waiting to see what he comes up with.with that said id still be interested in talking with other writers about other concepts.
Im currently moving along fairly well with the character creator. I will likely add a link here in the next few weeks and let everyone here playaround with it, and let me know what aspects you like or dont like. The characters have 700+ blend shapes/Morphs(face, body, size modifiers) and around 30 outfits.

Might even use some of the designs as the main characters.

Personally didn't really care about play time, since often that a long playtime with good story or gameplay can felt like short time but have a deep impact and it's also vice versa with the opposite side.
So yeah... Priorities quality over playtime I guess. Just do what you think best for your games buddy.

I think it's depend of the size of the game too, if the game is to big and I spend 1 hour downloading to play 20 minutes, I would wait a year to download again.

You already got someone? What setting? What limits in terms of the setting?

I guess this will differ from person to person, for me i don't mind waiting a few months for quality content with a substantial amount of playtime.

I decided to go another route (AI images) since i didnt get too many interested in helping. And thank you..
